Three tales of Boots and the farmyard. In Princess on the Glass Hill, three brothers win three magical horses, and only Boots rides to the very top of the glass hill, where the princess waits with her golden apples. How One Went Out to Woo is the comic tale of a suitor who takes his mother's instructions exactly as she says them. The Cock and Hen is a tiny cumulative farmyard tale of promises, eggs, and the shoes that never come.
